SSAB-AG designs, manufactures and installs large industrial doors used in the aeronautical, naval and railway industries.
During the construction of the Aerostar hangars in Bacău and cowards, intended for the maintenance of civil aircraft in the Airbus 320 and Boeing 737 category, this type of industrial gates were installed. The door consists of 10 sections of metal structure with an opening of 80 m and a height of 18.3 m. The gates are operated by control panels and are provided with a fixed window / section and two pedestrian access doors at the ends. The gates, equipped with obstacle detection sensors, have different opening speeds so that they reach the end of the race all at once. They fold into a space to the left and right, located inside the building.
The indoor retreat solution is recommended in climatic areas where it is winter, with a frost / thaw phenomenon. The movement of the gates is ensured by a sliding system on rails, embedded in the hangar platform.
